Our Shorthairs
We breed for natural hunting instincts, intelligence, and disposition.
Our dogs take well to training, and are known as enthusiastic, effective
hunters.
We breed our Shorthairs in the smaller size of the breed.
Our females usually mature to 30-40 pounds, our males to about 40-50 pounds.
From our experience, this size produces happy, healthy animals
that are not
subject to the undesirable traits sometimes
associated with animals that are "overbred"
for size or show qualities

Charges
German Shorthair Puppies are $600*.
A $100* deposit reserves a spot on the waiting list, with the balance ($500*) due upon delivery of the puppy.View our complete reservation policy.
How do we prepare each puppy?
We carefully prepare every puppy for you, including:
- Your puppy is successfully feeding on solid food.
- Your puppy has received it's first round of shots.
- Per the breed specifications, the tail is "bobbed".
What is NOT included?
At 6 weeks of age, the puppies are not yet trained.
They are puppies - cute, loveable, active, puppies.
You can look forward to all the joys of "puppyhood" - housebreaking, etc.
How long will I have to wait for my puppy?
There are currently about 7 people on our German Shorthair waiting list.
We have one female that we are breeding.
If you reserve a puppy now, our best guess is that you should see your puppy in about six months to a year.
Of course, we cannot predict the size of litters, or the mix of male and female puppies.
